Edoardo Santagata is a PhD candidate in UNSW’s School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering (SPREE) and a member of CEEM. Edoardo’s research focuses on energy resilience and security, renewable energy policy, and the development of modelling tools and planning frameworks to support clean energy transitions and decarbonisation in Pacific Island Countries and Territories. Edoardo also has experience deploying off-grid renewable energy systems for remote communities in Fiji and Vanuatu through collaborations with the University of the South Pacific and the UNSW Ènergie Renouvelable Vanuatu (UNSW-ERV) initiative.
