Daiyan is a Lecturer in the School of Chemical Engineering at UNSW Sydney and is a Chief Investigator in the ARC Training Centre for The Global Hydrogen Economy, DFAT funded HySupply project and NSW P2X. He has a track-record in building strong consortium of industry-academic partnerships for both HySupply and NSW P2X to explore the value chain costing and emerging technologies for enabling a domestic and export focused H2 and Power-to-X economy. Further, with skills in artificial photosynthesis, material synthesis, electrocatalysis and techno-economic analysis of renewable energy driven energy conversion systems, Daiyan is involved in developing emerging hydrogen generation and utilization technologies. Daiyan delivered projects with industry partners, CSIRO, NSW OCSE and DFAT to determine the feasibility of Australian powerfuel and hydrogen value chain.
