2006 Annual Conference
CEEM held its 2nd Annual Conference on the 26th October with a number of high profile speakers exploring the issues of economic and policy dimensions of climate change and energy policy issues, energy technology perspectives, the innovation challenge for carbon capture and storage and exploring innovation issues and the likely impacts of achieving emission reductions in Australia. The keynote speaker was Professor Michael Grubb, a leading international researcher on the economic and policy dimensions of climate change and energy policy issues. Presentations were given by:

The day concluded with a panel discussion on 'Where to from here for Australian Climate Policy', which in addition to some of the speakers also included Anthea Harris (Natioanl Emsiions Trading Taskforce), Frank Muller (Institue of Environmental Studies) and John Wright (CSIRO).
The Conference was well attended by researchers, policy makers and participants in Australian Energy and Environmental markets.
